If you are reading this guide, we assume that you already know about both the “Vuforia” and “Vuforeal Plugin”, features, design and what are the key elements. If you don’t it will be helpful to check this first: <insert Vuforeal Design / Vuforia Design>.
A local Database is one of these key elements, and most of Vuforia’s features rely on a local database. You can create a Vuforia Database using Vuforia Tools (info on these tools can be found in other provided guides <insert link> or on the Vuforia official websites <insert link>). When you export your database you get a .zip file that contains, depending on the tool version, a .dat and .xml files.
In the Vuforeal plugin, we created a new custom UAsset that allows you to import, read, and convert the Vufoira Database files into Unreal Engine Assets.
